I wore this dress on my wedding day in Byron Bay in November 2014 and it has been professionally cleaned and carefully stored ever since. I felt a million dollars wearing it on my big day and almost everyone has commented on how striking and unique it is. This really is special dress.
The dress is very easy and comfortable to wear. The design and perfect cut means it lies loose against the body, whilst still providing a chic and slimline silhouette. The overlay is 100% ivory French lace from Paris and the underlay is made from a slightly darker ivory silk. I opted for a low V line for the neckline.
Easy alterations can be made to shorten the neckline by putting a stitch in it if necessary. The low V-line front & back along with cap sleeves create a sophisticated and elegant yet sexy and contemporary finish to what is a fairly vintage-type looking dress. I am size 10, 5 Ft 8 inch tall and wore 7cm wedge shoes. The bodice would suit a B-D size bust and further alterations can be made. The dress is in great condition with no holes or tears to the lace.
