My couture gown was started by Marilyn Crystelle and completed by Elizabeth De Varga.
Fine silk was used with several vintage laces. There are tiny Swarovski crystals found all over the dress among the sequencing. The vintage laces have been fully reworked into the gown. 50 hours alone was spent heavily beading scallops with pearls over the bodice of the gown with the scallops continuing the full length of the dress covered by a layer of fine silk from the hips down. A split down the front of the gown is edged from another vintage lace that brings the whole dress together.
In the light you can see the detail and the sparkle under the silk. A long silk detachable train also accompanies the gown. The gown is shaped by meters of boning. Gown would be approximately size 8 This is an amazing dress. The gown is soft romantic and significant. I could not find anything like it and you won't find this on a rack. I really do love this gown and hope to find it a good home as i don't intend to need it again. |
